I'm so excited to talk about my very 1st experience to Bon Odori Malaysia 2015 on 5th September. I have been delaying my post for so long~ Forgive me! because of assignments and finals... Finally it is my Semester break so I have lots of time to spare.

Question Time
Anything to brag about for this week/ today?
Beautiful balloon
Me and my senpai
We didn't expect to reach the venue so early because there were no traffic jam at all. Maybe not much hardcore fans like us I wonder... We got to explore the booths one by one with no fights and cramps. My senpai was very kind to guide and protect me throughout the event Thank you so much! She even helped me chose a beautiful yukata sakura petals and it is pink and it was super duper cheap! It was sold at a 2nd-hand yukata booth but it was still in good shape.
Lovely Japanese woman; Yuki-san
The food was good and the prices are reasonable too. A trick to find cheaper items is to check out all the booths at firsthand then go for the cheaper once. Some booths sell the same items like the Ramune especially. I did buy a lot of Japanese bakery goodies and I have no regrets spending my money on them.
Flaky cheese breads
Ate Mr.Donuts donuts for supper
Yummy Japanese desserts
The main event was exciting too where the young Japanese dancers dance on a high stage and people joined in by dancing around them. It was super fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves too. I was nervous to join in at 1st but after dancing with the crowd, I feel no shame and just go with it. The steps are easy to catch up so no worries!
The bad part was the weather. It rained twice during the event. The 1st one wasn't that bad because my senpai and I manage to hide under a tent but the 2nd round was super heavy and got my yukata a little dirty. I hope it doesn't rain next year~
Panorama shot of the crowd
Conclusion, I came back broke but with loads of food mostly bakery goodies but still food. I definitely enjoyed myself too much during the dance and shopping. I earn a yukata too that I never expect to buy without a second thought.
Anything you want to share/ speak out/ on your mind?
Will definitely go to Bon Odori next year! WOOOOOO~
Goals to achieve or motivations?
